Fully implement policies and processes for Data Governance.
- Develop appropriate Data Policy and Data Competency to meet business needs and customer satisfaction.
Data Governance stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain timely communication with key stakeholders and ensure Data Governance activities are aligned and focused on core business needs while maintaining Data Policy compliance.
- Engage designated employees in the Data Owner role. Provide Training and Support as required for effective implementation of the Data Governance Initiative.
Lead data quality in the bank.
- Take joint accountability (with Data Owner) for data quality in the bank to ensure high quality data for use cases.
- Assign data quality EOs, monitor data quality status, provide administrative support for data quality resolution, and prioritize improvement activities.
Manage data provision and sharing.
- Facilitate the provision of data in the Bank for business needs.
- Protecting the privacy of customers and their data with a comprehensive Data Governance policy
Supporting the development of a Data Culture.
- Raising awareness of Bank Data – the interaction of Data Governance.
- Engaging Bank employees in the use of data to influence business areas.
